Title: Exploring the Engineering Marvel of the Gordie Howe International Bridge Project

Abstract: The Gordie Howe International Bridge project is a once‐in‐a‐generation undertaking connecting Windsor, Ontario with Detroit, Michigan. With a main span measuring 853 metres/0.53 miles, it is the longest cable‐stayed bridge in North America and tenth longest in the world – a true engineering marvel. Presentation will show the engineering behind the legacy project. A construction update will be shared, highlighting recent accomplishments, and the work that still needs to be done before the bridge opens to traffic in fall 2025.
